I can't recommend Dr. Bramhall and his incredible PA, Avril, highly enough. My journey began last October when I consulted with Dr. Bramhall regarding my concerns about the appearance of my breasts after weight loss and breastfeeding. The changes had really impacted their shape and elasticity, and I had already spoken with several other surgeons. However, I felt an immediate sense of comfort with Dr. Bramhall. What impressed me most was his willingness to truly listen to my goals for the results I desired, which made me feel secure in his care. I first chose to undergo a breast reduction and was absolutely delighted with the entire experience—from Avril's clear communication to the attentive aftercare and the immediate results I noticed. I later opted for a breast augmentation, and once again, the results exceeded my expectations and have been genuinely life-changing. I would gladly recommend Dr. Bramhall; my only regret is not having found him sooner.

I’m very pleased with the results - full recovery has taken a few months but I had researched the procedure thoroughly and knew what to expect. However, no one noticed I’d had the procedure even in the first few weeks post surgery. The overall result is very natural - I’m delighted with the outcome. Mr Bramhall was very professional and attentive throughout the whole experience. I have no hesitation in recommending the procedure to anyone considering this.

From a lot of research I chose to have my upper eyelids done by Dr Russell Bramhall. From my initial consultation I knew he was the person to carry this out. He is so particular and takes time out to explain all steps from the op to post op. The nurses also were great and put me so much at ease. They work as a great team with Russell. I was expecting the puffiness and bruising. To be honest it was worse than I expected however bruises were away in 3 weeks. It’s now 4 months post op and I couldn’t be happier. I don’t look tired any more with the extra skin falling down on my lashes. One eye was particularly bad. I now have the confidence not to put on lots of eye makeup, which I was doing to try and disguise the loose skin. I would recommend Russell in a heart beat. I had a deep plane face and neck lift in March 2025 and I am absolutely delighted with the results. I am 64, and over the last few years my double chin had become increasingly noticeable. Age, a sedentary job, and genetics all played a part, even though I have otherwise stayed reasonably slim and active. The way my chin looked no longer reflected how I felt inside, and it really bothered me. In fact, it bothered me so much that it annoyed me that I was annoyed! Eventually, I decided to look seriously into doing something about it. During my research, Dr Russell Bramwell and McKeown Medical came up again and again, and after my first consultation with Russell I knew I wanted to go ahead. I did talk to some family members, but it’s not an easy subject—nobody wants to say the wrong thing or hurt your feelings. In the end, it was something I knew I had to do for myself. For me, this felt less like a cosmetic procedure and more like a restorative one—it gave me back the feeling of self that I thought I had lost. If you are reading this because you’re considering a procedure, I would definitely recommend arranging a consultation with Dr Bramwell. He is approachable, open, and completely non-judgemental. He takes time to have an honest, straightforward discussion about what is possible and what is right for you. I haven’t had any other treatments such as fillers or microdermabrasion, though I can see how those might complement the surgery. But for now I am very happy with my natural jawline, and I really appreciate that there has been no pressure whatsoever to pursue further treatments. That, to me, shows an admirable level of genuine care for the individual.

Having researched before I made my first appointment with Dr Bramhall was by far the best decision I made. Everyone who knows me know I am not good with any sort of procedure or medical issues but Dr Bramhall made me feel so at ease and I couldn’t wait to get the date for the Breast Reduction. I wasn’t even nervous when I got to the hospital and was all over so quickly. Recovery was so easy as he kept in touch throughout and also Avril his assistant. Both amazing people. I would definitely recommend Dr Bramhall to everyone.

I absolutely recommend Dr Bramhall if you are considering a face/neck-lift. He is excellent at what he does. I am delighted with my results; I have a lovely jawline that I have never had before …ever! The care from Russell, his secretary Avril and all the staff at Ross Hall was brilliant. I was worried that people would look down on you, obviously there a lot of difficult things that can be going on in peoples lives that a facelift seems quite shallow, but everyone was just so lovely. I knew in 2021 that I wanted a facelift and I started my research back then. Your face is not something you can hide if something goes wrong so it was important for me to take my time and do some research before making any decisions. I also wanted someone close to home for follow up appointments. I decided I wanted a deep plan face and neck-lift and then started looking at surgeons who could do that procedure (and do it well!) and I kept coming back to Dr Bramhall. The reviews left by patients, the before and after pics and the fact that he is also followed by respected surgeons across the UK gave me confidence that he could be the surgeon for me, and I finally booked my consultation in August 24. At the consultation Russell makes it very clear what is involved in the procedure, and although I had done some research and knew what was involved, it is still a bit daunting hearing it being described. I think most people think a facelift is just lifting and tightening the skin but there is a lot more to a deep plan face and neck-lift. Which is why it is important to select a surgeon who knows what they are doing. After my consultation I was confident that Russell was the surgeon for me and I booked my procedure for March 25. Recovery from the procedure is fine and everything settles quite quickly. Initially my face looked very round as it was swollen, I thought I looked like a chipmunk. My husband was worried that it would completely change how I looked and at the beginning he couldn’t see how it would all settle and that I would go back to looking like me - he never said anything to me at the time but has since told me that he was worried in the beginning - but now he is amazed at how natural it looks. I still look like me but fresher, which was exactly what I was wanting. It is very natural looking, not tight and pulled at all. About three weeks into my recovery, I took very ill, completely unrelated to my surgery. I ended up needing an emergency operation and I was in and out of hospital for four weeks. Throughout that scary time Avril, Russell’s secretary, was in regular contact with me, checking to see how I was doing. Luckily, I recovered and it ended up being a good cover story for my slight change in appearance, everyone I seen after that kept telling me I looked amazing and I told them I had lost a few lbs during my illness and my face just looked slimmer because of it. I am 5 months post op and I am still healing, under my neck feels a bit strange but not in an uncomfortable way, and not in a way that bothers me at all. The scars at the back of my head are still a bit red, so I can’t tie my hair up yet. But other than that, everything has settled brilliantly and I am so happy with my results. I know that it takes a full year for everything to really settle, plus Dr Bramhall is happy with how everything is healing. I will post some pictures of before, during and after when I can. I have also agreed to allow Dr Bramhall to use my pictures as I think it is beneficial for people considering surgery to see other peoples results with the surgeon they are looking at, and I think he will be doing that in the next month or two.

After my previous surgeon retired, I was looking for someone I could trust for a revision—and I’m so thankful that Mr. Russell took me on as a patient. From my very first appointment, he was upfront, honest, and set realistic expectations, which I appreciated. He came across as genuinely empathetic and took the time to listen. I felt like he truly understood my concerns and hopes, which made me feel confident and eager to move forward. Throughout the whole process, his PA Avril was incredibly supportive—always at the other end of the phone to answer any questions, no matter how small. She was also a huge help during my recovery, providing reassurance and quick answers whenever I needed guidance. It made a big difference knowing I wasn’t on my own. On the day of surgery, I was more nervous than I’d been the first time. I think I was just afraid of waking up again to a result that didn’t match what I had hoped for. But that morning, when Mr. Russell came to mark me up, he was calm, kind, and reassuring—his empathy in that moment helped settle my nerves. Later, just before I was wheeled into theatre, he gave me a wave and another few words of reassurance. I’ll never forget that. It made all the difference. The surgery was day-case, which was perfect for me—I much prefer recovering at home, and it was a far better experience than my first surgery, where I had to stay overnight and barely slept. Just before I was discharged, I caught a glimpse of my new chest in the mirror, and I immediately burst into tears of joy. It was clear I had woken up with the result I had hoped for. Recovery was smooth with minimal discomfort, and I had no complications. By the time my 6-week checkup came around, I was genuinely excited to see Mr. Russell again and share how happy I was. ‘Perfect’ is a word that’s used cautiously in plastic surgery—but for me, my result is exactly that.

Being a theatre nurse I am in a privileged position to actively assist Mr Bramhall in his surgical procedures. His precision, professionalism, passion and skill are second to non. Naturally he was the surgeon of choice for my own personal surgery. During the initial consultation Mr Bramhall understood my insecurities and put me at ease. My abdomen has been a source of deep unhappiness for more years than I care to remember. This has weighed heavy on my shoulders without doubt….all day every day. Tayloring surgery to meet my needs and expectations an extended abdominoplasty was offered. Delighted to get the go ahead a date was planned and I was kept up to date by the lovely Avril. A fabulous PA who always replies promptly and proficiently. The day of surgery went seemlesly, I had 100% trust in Mr Bramhall, my anaesthetist Dr Doherty and the Ross Hall theatre team. Waking up from the anaesthetic I knew instantly I had made a fantastic choice for myself. The results were amazing even at this very early stage.
