Hello and thank you for the question! Scars can take up to a year to present in their final form. There are many treatment options for you to help with the scarring. If you are fresh from your procedure I would recommend the Embrace Scar therapy program or SilaGel These products both offer medical grade silicone that is proven to help incision lines. There are also laser treatments that will help with pigmentation of the scars as well. I hope this helps and good luck!
Liposuction scars can be dark, contoured, or textured. I would use a combination of fractional laser, Melarase PM, Plato's Scar Serum, and PRP SC.Best, Dr. Karamanoukian#Realself100 Surgeon
This is difficult to answer without pictures. Scars can be improved with a combination approach of Silagen + Bioshield, lasers, microneedling/prp, subcision and fillers. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. There are several possible solutions including a scar revision, but the optimal treatment depends on how old the scars are. Make sure you specifically lookat before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgeryperformed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. I have found that a combination of the V-Beam laser and eMatrix laser are the best for treating these types of scars from surgery. Please consult an expert as it will take several treatments by a board certified physician who is an expert in lasers and scars. Best, Dr. Green
The liposuction cannulas are very small. The thin lines that result typically go on to fade out entirely. I would like to know when you underwent surgery and to see a photo of the scars in order to make a recommendation.
