Can I get a BBL after I was diagnosed with leukemia more than 6 years ago?

as long as you are healthy and get a clearance from your doctor, you might be a candidate for a BBL surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

You could definitely still be a candidate for a Brazilian butt lift. I would recommend starting with a hematologist, who could help stratify your risk for getting blood clots in the future. Should you be at higher risk, sometimes adding blood thinning medication around the time of surgery  greatly reduces the risk to the point of making the procedure safe.Hope this helps!All the best - Sam Jejurikar, MD

You may still be a candidate for a BBL as long as you receive a medical clearance from your doctor. If you are a good candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), the optimal outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique.
