Does hairline lowering surgery change any facial features?

Question

For example forehead elasticity, wrinkles or raises eye brows, change to shape of eyes? I know with rhinoplasty you can sometimes have a change in your smile and or lips. I am wondering if the same can happen with hairline lowering.

Hair line lowering surgery should not change your facial features other than the obvious resulting smaller forehead.  Your forehead and scalp may "feel" tight but it should resolve over time.

A hairline lowering will only change the hairline, but it is the best time to do a brow lift if one is needed or desired.  I often combine hairline lowering with other procedures such as rhinoplasty.

Not unless you specifically want/need them to change. During a traditional hairline lowering procedure, the forehead is not undermined or moved, although for a few days after the surgery the forehead may feel tight and slightly swollen. It is a good opportunity, though, to lift the forehead if you so desire.

A hair line lowering procedure will not change brow position or shape unless this is what we want to achieve. For example, I frequently lift low brows at the same time if that is what the patient wants and needs.

Lowering the hairline without any other surgical steps will not affect brow position or brow movement unless changes are desired. Then a browlidt can be done in combination. Lowering of the hairline will shorten the forehead,therefore the lower facial features might appear more prominent. This often is the desired benefit  of hairline lowerinsurgery; a more balanced facial appearance
