I was contemplating a hair transplant. My research led me to the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) which is the leading authority on hair loss treatment and restoration.

Upon hesitation about seeing a hair specialist because of loss of hair, I am glad I finally went and saw Dr. Barusco. He and his staff are friendly, non-judgemental, very knowledgeable not only about what goes on with the top but in the human body where everyone is different. If anyone has thinning or loss of hair I would highly recommend going and see Dr. Barusco. Choosing the RIGHT doctor is everything with hair replacement. Beware the plastic surgeon who offers this service occasionally and rents a machine for your procedure. The first place I went to, this was the case and I quickly decided to keep looking. I found Dr Barusco and knew immediately he was the guy. One year since the FUT procedure and I can't be happier. I don't normally write reviews for things but felt like I should write my experience to help others who were in my position. After my divorce I was feeling really low. I had gained weight and loss all desire to start over. My hair was receding which made everything else worse . Each day that passed it was harder and harder to look in the mirror and gain the motivation to get my life together. Finally I figured I go talk to someone to see what can be done about my hair. I did a quick google search and came across Dr. Baruscos website , I was impressed with the vast amount of information on the website and before and after pictures. I thought I'd give it a shot as there was a consult office in my area and there was no charge to get the information. I met with Jessica who gave me a lot of information. She was really kind and sympathized to my situation and made me feel comfortable to explain how I felt and what I was looking to do. She walked me through the science of hair loss and each form of therapy and procedures offered. Dr. Barusco Skyped in and gave me so much information and hope that I could have my hairline restored and in 12 months have my final results. I moved forward with the procedure and was impressed with the professionalism from Dr. Baruscos technicians there was a husband and wife team and the brother in law . It was nice to see them work together and could tell it was a good dynamic. I was fed lunch and in no time on my way home. Dr. Barusco even provided me with his personal cell number and called me that night to check on me. I felt really cared for and comfortable throughout the entire procedure and after. For my follow ups . I was called at 4 months, 8 months and 12 months to make an appointment . The four month follow up I was able to complete via facetime which was convenient for me due to my work schedule. For the other two I went up to Port Orange to see the doc in person. He took pictures and tracked the growth of the hair that was implanted. It was nice to see the gradual growth and even nicer to get comments on how young I was looking. Since it was gradual and so well done it was something that wasn't a dramatic shock overnight. Which I appreciated. My confidence definitely increased as the compliments came rolling in. I joined a gym and felt determined again. I just got home from my final follow up . I looked in the mirror and finally feel happy with who is looking back. I owe it all to that office and while I am normally a shy guy who keeps things to himself . I couldn't hold this in and thought I'd share my experience so someone else who is going through a tough time can benefit.

In the past 30 years I have had 3 transplants, must last being 10 years ago for a "touch up". New to the area I interviewed several doctors in central Florida. I can attest Dr Barusco and staff gave me the best service I have experienced. The entire staff was well trained, friendly and knowlegable all areas of thier field. I was surprised when we entered the treatment room! State of the art. The patients chair actually reclines fully and several stations were set up to seperate the folicles, which greatly expedites total time of procedure (we did about 1200 graffs in 3 hours) and you can sleep through it if you wish.
On a personal note Dr Barusco's long standing background, author and lecture in this field certainly make him the most qualified doctor I interviewed, but on a more personal note, he is a great guy. Great follow up after the procedure, down to earth and he makes you feel like a friend. I highly recommend him to anyone considering a transplant and should I need more filing in down the road, I will only come back to him.

This is my 3rd procedure with Dr. Barusco. The first two were "strips" and this one was no shave FUE. Dr. Barusco and his staff are very professional and do incredible work. The office is very comfortable and OR is great. The no shave FUE was very simple and easy to bounce back from - I actually went to an office meeting the day after my procedure and did just fine. After having both types of procedures from Dr. B, I am a huge fan of his but prefer the no shave FUE. The discomfort/pain after the procedure is minimal with the FUE. The procedure itself was simple and well worth the investment. I would highly recommend Dr Barusco.

I had a bad experience before coming to Dr Barusco. It took several free consultations with him before deciding to have another procedure. I started feeling bad about that, but he assured me that he wouldn't do any procedure until I was confident on his work. I was anxious until the day I came for the surgery. I can't compare the two doctors. It is like water and wine. Dr Brusco changed my life and have my trust. One my first procedure, the "machine" did the work. I paid for 2500 grafts. I barely see any difference. I had 1200 FUE with Dr Brusco, and everyone asks me what I have been doing that I am looking younger but I don't say anything . It is my hair, doc.
