For the past few months, these nasolabial lines have started to bother me a lot. They make me look a lot older than I am. This may or may not be relevant but I make a lot of facial gestures and smile a lot :) I guess my cousin was right when she said smiling gives you wrinkles. I have always had very full cheekbones, but maybe the problem is them, maybe they have gotten flat. Should I get fillers for my nasolabial folds or my cheeks? And which kind do you prefer? What is your opinion? Thank you!
Answer: Dermal fillers Hi @diddyhelp! I would suggest you consider hyaluronic acid dermal fillers like Restylane Defyne for your nasolabial folds/laugh lines and Restylane Lyft in your cheeks. I recommend seeking treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Answer: Should I fill these nasolabial folds, or is it my cheeks? I am 28 years old. Without examining you it's difficult to be entirely sure, but based on your photos it appears as though you would benefit from some volume restoration in your cheek area. This will help flatten the nasolabial folds in a natural way rather than direct injection below them which can result in a very abnormal appearance, especially when your face is moving (which in most people is almost all the time). The only way to know for sure is to book a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon near you to see what your options are. Best of luck!

Answer: Facial Fillers First off, Don't Stop Smiling! A pretty smile makes any face more attractive!I appreciate your concern, and since you have a very pretty face, I would recommend conservative treatment of your nasolabial folds with Hyaluronic Acid, like Juvederm plus. Another option is fat transfer which is more permanent. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon in your area, Good Luck!

Answer: Cheeks or folds for filler From the photos, it looks like a primary midface issue. You can tell from the orbital hollows that are present specially towards the side of the eye. My approach would be to volumize the central made face, followed by the orbital hollows towards the side of the eye. If your folds still remain at that point, and you can place a small amount of filler in that area. This will likely take more than one syringe. Probably one and a half, but it's impossible to tell before doing the treatment.

Answer: Should I fill these nasolabial folds or the cheeks Based on the photographs it looks as if you have lost volume in orbital rim area, and the cheeks. The best long term treatment would be fat injection. SCULPTRA is a good alternative for orbital rim fat loss and descent. Any treatment should address the hollowness around your eyes. The loss of volume of your cheeks and last of all, the nasolabial folds. Consult with a Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. A plastic surgeon understands the anatomy and the aesthetic issues of balance.
