Is Versa or Restylane Lyft and Defyne good options for cheekbones?

Any Juvederm product is likely to be more 'hydrophilic' than others, meaning it is water-loving and prone to additional swelling effect. Some patients get great benefits with the swelling but for others it can be chronic overkill. For the cheeks, I think Restylane Lyft or Defyne is great, depending on how you want to use it. Lyft is structural and offers height to the cheeks, while Defyne is integrative and offers a smooth range of volume. Regardless of the product you choose, I strongly suggest that you build your cheeks in conservative amounts over time so the product is building and lasting longer. Best, Dr. Anil Shah

I work with the Restylane family of fillers in my clinic, and I prefer Restylane Lyft when treating the cheeks. Sculptra works well for panfacial volume loss.

Only get another filler if all the swelling is gone and the Vycross filler has been removed with hyaluronidase. I have experience using Juvéderm or Restylane in this situation. I would recommend the filler not be injected on the periosteum where the prior filler was, but in the fat a little more superficially. Best of luck, hope this helps.

In the hands of an experienced injector any filler can do a very good job with practically no swelling. The amount of swelling seen in a patient always depends on the practitioners experience, technique as well as patience metabolism. Good luck from New York City
