Getting filler 22 days before oral surgery should be just fine.  Filler is usually settled in 14 days so there should be no problem.

In  my opinion, the risk of infection in the treated area is low.  However , the manipulation that can occur with the extraction can possibly (at 3 weeks)  displace some of the material. It would be safer to do the fillers after the tooth extraction and swelling resolve. Find an expert. Good luck.

22 days is ample time between these procedures.  We recommend patients wait 2 weeks between invasive dental procedures and filler to minimize the risk of complications.  I would suggest discussing this with your injector and following their recommendations.

You are smart in that you know about the correlation between infection and dental procedures. I always say there needs to be a 2 week window after filler to have any dental work done. Even waiting that amount of time isn't always enough. If possible, I would wait until after the procedure to have your filler. During dental procedures, there is bacteria that seeps into the blood which can seed the filler. That is why people with artificial joints or heart valves require antibiotics prior to having even a cleaning. We might be moving towards that for filler too. Fillers are basically implants and will act similarly.

Since you will be getting filler remote from the tooth itself, and because you will be on antibiotic thearpy, it should be safe for these injections 22 days prior to the dental extraction. Ask your oral surgeon as well before proceeding, in the event the tooth is infected at present. In this situation it would be better to wait until no oral inection remains before getting filler injections.
