Dear Lewashby, Thank you for your inquiry. An in person consultation is always recommended to make sure you get most accurate evaluation and proper treatment. According to Ultherapy protocol, the area you mentioned should be treated with two transducers such as 3.0 and 1.5 depth. However, during the consultation your provider will be able to visualize the thickness of the tissue below the surface of the skin which will confirm appropriate depth of treatment in order to avoid the bone. Hope this was helpful Best of luck
The 3 depths used (1.5mm, 3mm and 4.5mm) varies case by case. Nothing non surgical competes with a surgical approach for eyebrow lifting. However, fillers combined with, lasers, ultherapy/thermage, and botox all can help lift the brows non surgically. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist., Dr. Emer.
Thank you very much for your question, the ultherapy technology allows us to visualize the collagen lines on the computer screen where we must perform the treatment, this is why we do not have a specific transducer for the area of the eyebrows or forehead, we can use 1.5, 3.0-4.5 depending on where these fibers are located, it is therefore very important that this procedure be performed by a specialist who can determine the transducer to be used. Greetings from Cartagena Colombia!
Thank you for your question. There is no normal depth per se for an area. Ultherapy uses ultrasound to see how deep the collagen is and then you pick the depth accordingly. Usually a 1.5 mm depth only is not appropriate. Most of our patients get the first pass with a 3.0 and the second pass with the 1.5 for the brows. I personally had the 4.0 and the 1.5 done because that was the level when seen on the ultrasound.
Thank you for your question. The great thing about Ultherapy is that the procedure is ultrasound guided and your provider can customize your treatment based on your tissue for the area that is being treated. Typically we use the 1.5mm and 3.0mm for eyebrows, but we always use the ultrasound to scan you first to make sure we are giving you the best treatment. We also recommend using Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar two weeks before and after your treatment for an improved result!
Thank you for the question. The best part about ultherapy is that its ultrasound based and the provider can actually scan the area to be treated and then treat with the depth thats appropriate. There is no fixed depth per area to be treated since everone's face is different.
The Ultherapy device can go as deep as 4.5mm in the brow area. This depth is typically reserved for male patients with thicker dermal tissue. We regularly use both the 3.0mm & 1.5mm depths for the brow for best result. The only way your provider can confirm depth is by using the ultrasound device over your brow and telling you how deep your tissue is. Sometimes we are surprised.
Ultherapy as a whole is not very effective for skin tightening. For brow lift, it has to be superficial. Consult with your doctor to know more about this procedure.
Unless Ultherapy is applied directly to the pelvic area, it can’t prevent pregnancy. It should be completely safe. Consult your doctor to know more about this procedure.
Dear Phenomenal7304Thank you for your question. Ultherapy treatment is safe and effective for all skin types. Unlike laser resurfacing and deep chemical peels procedures which are less suitable for darker skin due to the potential risk for burns and hyperpigmentation, Ultherapy it’s a FDA non...
Ultherapy is a non-invasive procedure that lifts the neck, chin and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the upper chest. As we age, collagen breaks down, resulting in loss of skin strength and elasticity. For tissue tightening, Ultherapy is ideal for the lower face and neck and we often...
