Thank you for your question and photos. It is worth having multiple consultations to evaluate cost variation among surgeons in your area. Choose a board certified plastic surgeon based upon experience and the results he or she can deliver, not just on cost alone. Many practices offer financing plans to lessen the upfront cost. Hope this helps and good luck with your procedure.
The costs will depend on where you go and who does the surgery, along with whether or not you choose to have anesthesia for it (which raises the cost). In our Center, these procedures typically cost in the $6000-9000 range.
This is largely influenced by the demand for the surgeon and the number of areas liposuctioned.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
Thank you for your question. Fees associated with a liposuction procedure will vary across practices and locations, and depends largely on how many areas will be treated during a single surgical setting and where a patients procedure would take place (office ambulatory center, surgicenter, or hospital). In most cases, surgeons will quote fees that include all anesthesia and facility costs, but you should be careful to discuss exactly what your quoted fee includes and does not include with your operating surgeon's surgical coordinator. In my practice, liposuction fees begin around $4,700 and can go up from there depending upon the number of areas treated. If you are interested in discussing your candidacy for liposuction further, I would recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who is well-experienced in body contouring procedures. At the time of your consultation, your candidacy can be best determined and you can obtain an accurate surgical fee quote that reflects the procedure and necessary treatment areas that would provide you with the cosmetic result that you desire. I hope you find this helpful and I wish you all of the best!
Thank you for the question and photo. Liposuction costs vary by city location and areas of the body. In NYC they can start at $5500 and go up. I price them by area and Operating time. You'll get a more specific cost after an in office consultation. Best of luck!Dr. Khuthaila
Kay. First off, try to lose as much weight as possible before surgery to attain the best possible result. All in, Liposuction for 4 areas in the NYC region will run between $6000-$12000, including anesthesia and OR fees. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon, because training, experience and expertise really does matter for this procedure. Good luck!
Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. Make sure youspecifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who havehad this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate theirresults. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you arecomfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualifiedboard-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
Thanks so much for reaching out. Looks like you are a great candidate for liposuction. The cost depends on which areas. By including a flip and doing the front and backside the cost goes up a little bit. I would say that the Liposuction for the areas that you are inquiring about would be about $6000. I hope this helps :-)
You would have to be seen in person. If you have loose skin, then you might benefit from a tummy tuck. The fees will vary from surgeon to surgeon.
Liposuction is certainly less expensive than more invasive procedures. Quoting a range that doubles is rather meaningless. Surgical facility and anesthesia fees are factors which will vary by practice. In my experience, when procedures can be performed in my accredited OR, fees are significantly lower than when a surgicenter is profiting. I personally do not quote by the area but by the estimated OR time. This can only be determined during a consultation based on the type of fat to be removed. I encourage you to see a board certified plastic surgeon and not be driven by pricing guesstimates alone.
