I see no difference 7 weeks post lipo, is it normal? (photos)

Here I have included some before and after pictures. Given, there is a bit of difference. However is this my final result? I expected more. My stomach is by no means flat and I was promised it would be. My lower belly fells hard. Starting the 2nd week post, I have had about 16 lymphatic drainage/ultrasound massages to help swelling. I feel my hipbones more than i did before but it still looks fat. Will this change? There are few lumps and waviness. I still wear my compression garment at all times.

No, this isn't your final result. You most likely have swelling which will resolve in 3-6 months. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. It is hard to see much in your photos, but they are not standardized with the postoperatively being closer to the camera and more magnified. At this point, I would recommend waiting another 3 to 4 months to be sure that all of your swelling is gone then re-evaluate your results. If unchanged, I suspect a tummy tuck will be a better option than repeated liposuction.

Sorry about your disappointment; I do see some improvement but it appears to me that the benefits of liposuction and its realistic possibilities in you was not discussed in detail pre-operatively. I would have recommended a full tummy tuck with liposuction in your case. You need muscle tightening and excess skin removal to give you a flat abdominal contour.

Thank you for sharing your questions and photographs and congratulations on your procedure.  Swelling after liposuction will mask your long-term results for several weeks to months after the procedure.  Though I see definite improvement in your appearance you need to allow at least six months to pass before assessing your results.  Hope this helps.

Hi and thanks for the question and photos. You can expect to have firmness, swelling and some lumpiness for approximately 16 weeks after liposuction.
