My doctor says that the Line beside my eye Can be fixed by a Canthopexy surgery. I Had removed some eyebags 1 year ago and Left me with this long scar/Line. And round eyes with Sclera to show.

Typically, a canthopexy is performed when the lower eyelid has lost its tightness. You will need a careful examination of the eyes to determine if you would benefit from a canthopexy. Answer: Canthopexy or not I perform a canthopexy in most patients especially those with lax lower lid tone. This will support the lower lid and minimize the risk of scleral show. It will not improve the scar issue.Your lifting or pulling up or laterally suggest a lift of the brow may improve the holding laterally.
