I had lower blepharoplasty done in June. I still have bruises and can now see that one eye has loose skin and some type of bag. The other eye is nice and tight. I will call my doctor on Monday. I'm so nervous and worried. Please let me know this can be fixed.
Answer: The eyelid still looks swollen. This could be improved with a chemical peel rather than more surgery. Is there a history of prior under eye filler? These can sometimes contribute to persistent swelling in the wrong planes. Considering where you started, I think this is the start of a very good result. Considering posting what your surgeon proposes.

Answer: Post Blepharoplasty Concerns The photos show swelling in the malar area, which is neither cheek nor eyelid skin. This area can be addressed with an extended subciliary blepharoplasty, but there is no full proof technique to eliminate this problem. It is important to understand that this is not skin excess and attempts to address this problem with skin removal will compound your problems and won't work. It would be best to sit down with your Surgeon to consider strategies. Right now, the best strategy is patience: It's too early for surgical intervention.

Answer: Post lower lid surgery It looks like you have some edema still in the skin/malar fat pad area on that one side. You may just need some laser resurfacing to try to tighten up the skin. This sort of edema can occur post-op and at times is tough to completely get rid of.

Answer: Loose skin after lower blepharoplasty Thanks for the photos. It appears that you have more swelling of the left than the right side, about 4 months after surgery. I have seen it take , in some patients, 6-9 months after surgery for the swelling to subside. After that period of time, any loose tissue can be treated with minimal surgery or laser treatment. .In the meantime, it may help if you sleep on the opposite side and avoid salty foods.
