I injected Botox on each side of my jaw to make it seem slimmer. However the injector injected me at the wrong spot and somehow my skin system and cheek muscle system went awful. Looks like 10 years older.lost of natural skin fat .skin get loose and saggy. Can I recover from that?Thx first photo is before injection and second is four months after.I don't believe Botox only last for 4months cause I do not see any recovery so far.

Answer: Botox for masseter facial sculpting The effects of Botox wear off (on average) in 3-4 months although some people still see the effects at 6 months. I am confident that you Botox effects will wear off and you face will return to its pre-Botox appearance. I suggest that you see your physician and get his/her expert advice. Sorry you had an undesirable outcome and wish you the best of luck going forward. Dr. Berdy

Answer: Best See Your Doctor The problem that you have requires that you see your doctor, and no online advice will be an effective substitute for professional follow up. That said, I do want you to realize that the injected muscle, the masseter, will take a while to get back to size after profound paralysis. It is like a leg that has spent the summer in a cast for a fracture: the muscle undergoes atrophy. All will resolve. I hope this is helpful! Best to you, Gregg Kennedy, MD
