hello i'm 25 years old i would like to get botox around my forehead and fillers on my lips and cheeks, but i'm i'm concerned about the side effects i've read in different places that filler could cause blindness ? is it the same with botox and is there another solution other than injectable fillers and botox ?

Answer: Botox and Blindness Botox which is considered an neuromodulator has never been associated with blindness. Botox is completely different than dermal fillers. In the case of dermal fillers, the blindness which is extremely rare was caused by injected the heavy molecule into the artery inadvertently which cause a blockage to the eye. Botox is not a heavy molecule so it cannot block the artery.
