What should I do to make my areola incision scars heal faster? (Photo)

I am 6 months post BA through areola incision. I've also had nipple reduction. My scars are still red, bumpy and hard. My right nipple feels very tender to the touch. I am applying mederma gel every night and massage my scars with vitamin e oil in the morning. Is there anything else I can do for these scars to heal faster? Please help. Thank you!

Hello,You should avoid direct heavy lifting with your arms/upper body for 4 to 6 weeks.However,  you should know that staying lean is 90% diet, 10% exercise.  Best of luck!

What you describe could be the result of swelling diminishing following your surgery. Or it could just be that the implants are filling the pocket made during surgery. With the type of procedure you described, some movement of the breast implants is expected.I would recommend you discuss your ...

Hello,Thank you for your Question. I recommend that you discuss this concern with your Plastic Surgeon. My patients can typically lift their arms comfortably by three weeks post op, however I advise no heavy lifting for 6 weeks total.All the best

I doubt your toddler could hurt anything but it will wake you up when he rolls on top of you.  Might be a good time to get him into his own bed as you will not be sleeping well and you could sleep in his room for a few nights while you recover.

That really depends on your body build, the tightness of your soft tissue and the size of implants you are using.
