Hello! If I end up larger than a B cup I will not be happy - I have never wanted large breasts - I just want some! However, I'm worried about base width etc. Any recommendations? My PS recommended between 225-300 CC. With the 3D simulator 300 seems absolutely huge. Also, realistically, is everything going to be okay? I go from excited to thinking I'm crazy for wanting to "mutilate" my perfectly healthy body.
Answer: 5'9 and 125 pounds desiring a B cup - 255cc or 285cc? Hi... thank you for the question and photo... You are not "mutilating" your body... you are improving it... In my practice, cases like this are treated depending on the measures with a gel silicon implants, 275 or 300cc. This will improve your breast. And the 3D animation is for you to have a guide.

Answer: Small breast augmentation Thank you for your question and posting an appropriate picture. You seem to be very good for candidate for breast augmentation. It is normal to have anxiety before the procedure which will subside after you see great results. I prefer moderate or even low-profile im I prefer moderate or even low-profile implants for smaller augments and sizes you have mentioned. I find having additional discussions with your plastic surgeon necessary and to avoid size discrepancies post op.

Answer: Size matters I appreciate your concern, because size does matter when seeking a natural looking result in breast augmentation. I ask my patients to bring in photos of breasts the size they desire, because there can otherwise be confusion because B or C cup can vary greatly by brassiere manufactures! I also utilize the implant in the bra technique, with several different implant sizes with a tighter fitting T-shirt to get an idea of what you will look like. Finally, I prefer to meet with my breast implant patients at least twice before surgery, so I am confident that I know exactly what her desires regarding shape and size are. I then have several sized implants in the patient's desired range available in the OR to allow me to tailor the operation to her needs. Be certain your surgeon understands your desires and you should do great as this operation carries a very high satisfaction rate. Good luck!

Answer: Choosing your breast implant size Thank you for your question, and your concern is legitimate. You are afraid of looking "too big" or "too fake". The great news is that there are a variety of implant shapes, profiles, and volumes available. It is much more than simply about the number of cc's. If your board certified plastic surgeon helps you select an implant that fits your body measurements, you should absolutely get a natural looking result. I recommend seeking a plastic surgeon with experience in anatomic/tear-drop shaped implants. In my experience, these give the most natural results in someone with your body type.

Answer: 5'9 and 125 pounds desiring a B cup - 255cc or 285cc? Thank you for the question. Based on your photograph, I think that you are starting at a good place and should have a very nice outcome with breast augmentation surgery. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, and computer imaging) will be critical. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. For example, I have found that the use of know words such as “natural” or "B cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers. I hope this (and the attached link, dedicated to breast augmentation surgery concerns) helps. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.
