I've read that many people go back to work after 4 days of having lipo on knees calves and ankles, but I'm very swollen and walk like a penguin. I had the surgery done Friday and today is Wednesday. Should I be worried? Also, I feel like I'm more swollen when my feet are elevated. Is this normal?

There is no reason liposuction should cause true acne, but compression may irritate the acne and cause it to flare. If you were given steroids in your anesthesia that could also cause steroid acne. Please speak to your physician. Best, Dr. Emer.
