The skin can respond to the trauma of surgery. This can trigger eruptions even acne. Furthermore there is a possibility of an allergic reaction to anyone of a number of medications. This should be ruled out. The compressive garment can create in area of moisture that can trigger a skin reaction of a different variety. Best to check this out with your surgeon.

Though not typical, patients can develop pimples after any surgery, usually as a reaction to either the solution used to sterilize your skin or the garments used to cover your incision. Additionally if you are being kept in a compression garment, the sweat your body produces while wearing the garment may also predispose you. Though these pimples should be self-limited, see your physician to ensure appropriate healing.
Acne breakouts are possible after surgery. This may be related to the garment which can cause a heat rash and sometimes a reaction to the latex in some of the garments. Additionally, the surgical prep, anesthesia and medications can be a shock to the system. You should follow up very quickly with your plastic surgeon to make sure this is quickly under control.
