I tripped going up the steps and landed on my right arm. My right breast looks and feels slightly swollen. I've been feeling pinching sensations here on the entire breast ever since. Also, the muscle (I think) feels slightly tighter ever since. I've read about capsular contractures. Am I heading down this road because of the fall? Will this feeling eventually go away? Is the muscle just tense? Is there something else I should be worried about ?
Answer: Breast augmentation with lift post op, some advices: Thanks for the question. Its too early to talk about results, but i recommend you to send your photos to give you better information of your interest. Here i let you some advices after breast surgery. In my practice, after performing a Breast augmentation with lift I recommend to my patients to limit the movement of the arms for two weeks. After that, you can move your arms taking care and always with common sense. In this regard, it's not advisable to carry heavy weights to prevent the implant out of position, and allow the formation of the physiological capsule around the implant, also to avoid pain and breast swelling.Respectfully, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol.-

Answer: Fall after breast lift and augmentation You are 17 days after surgery. It is expected that you may feel twinges and some additional strain from the fall, particularly since surgery was a couple of weeks ago. Minimal swelling not unusual, but remarkable swelling and asymmetry is a concern. That might indicate internal bruising that should be checked by your surgeon. It is extremely unlikely that you have suffered damage to the implant resulting in capsular contracture. You should ice the area and consider using ibuprofen around the clock - if you can take the medication. You should visit with your plastic surgeon to address your concerns. I am sure she/he would be happy to see you and assess what is going on.

Answer: Breast Augmentation Post-Op in Melbourne, Florida I would suggest you make an appointment to be seen by your board-certified plastic surgeon as soon as possible. Having said that, it seems unlikely and sounds unlikely from your story that this would necessarily interfere with your surgical result. Also, this early after your surgery, it is not unusual to feel some minor aches and pains in the breasts; however, you should have full range of motion of our arms and should be able to raise your arms above your head even immediately after surgery. Definitely be evaluated by your surgeon as soon as possible regarding this event. Hopefully this is helpful. Best of luck!

Answer: Trauma? It is unlikely that you developed a significant problem with your implants, but to be safe, you should probably see your doctor to make sure everything is ok.

Answer: I'm 17 days post op breast lift/sub muscular augmentation and tripped on steps. Should I be worried? Hello dear, thanks for your question and provided information as well... From what I just read I do not think that you'd caused something bar or a complication to your breasts, I also would recommend you to get an appointment with your doctor and explain everything you've been through, hugs!!
