Question

I am 200lbs. Had 4 hour surgery with breast implants (gone wrong) lipo tummy tuck and a fat transfer 16,000 bucks. I am mot happy about any of it honestly!!! My stomach looks like im pregnant i have a journal the whole way since the surgery not just swelling I am in PAIN like a burning kinda like nerve pain in the abdomen. Its mostly around my belly button no symptoms of infection in belly button its all lumpy on the inside not outside when applied pressure its wierd it hurtsbutfeelsgoodwhenmassaged

Hello and thank you for your question and photos.  At the 1 year mark, you should be completely healed with little to no pain.  For this type of concern, I would follow up with your plastic surgeon.  He/she may recommend a CT scan to rule out any concerns.  I wish you the best of luck!

Thank you very much for your question, what I suggest is to perform a surgical revision of your surgery, you can go ahead with an abdominal ultrasound, however it is very important to be able to perform a revision and at the same time a correction of your surgery, something is not there normal

HI Drak,

I am sorry that you are having so much pain from your surgery. It appears that you are quite a bit overweight . Did you gain weight after your surgery? I would suggest that you try to lose weight because not too much can be done now to give you a better look as most of your fat is inside the abdomen, not on the outside. Some of the pain could be attributed to nerve pain, but you should return to your doctor for an in person exam and discussion of your concerns and disappointment
with the result.
It seems that you had some wound healing problems as well which could be causing some pain.
 If he/she will not see you , please get some other opinions.

I'm sorry that you are having so much pain.  If you are 200lbs the culprit may be visceral fat, or the fat around your organs.  This cannot be addressed with a tummy tuck or liposuction as it is behind the muscle wall and must be addressed through diet and exercise.  I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for an evaluation.

The pictures posted are inadequate for full evaluation.
The appearance of the abdomen is mostly due to visceral fat which can not be addressed with an abdominoplasty. Need to get near ideal weight then re-evaluate. Once you loose the weight then consult a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

The problem is that you’re 60 pounds overweight.

Your access visceral fat is forcing your muscle fascia to be stretched out against the muscle tightening that was done.

Lose weight and the results will follow.
