What is Tricare’s criteria for Panniculectomy and abdominoplasty? (Photo)

I am female 40 year old and I had bariatric surgery December 6, 2019 I am now 5’2 160 and I have loose hanging skin that keeps getting rashes underneath. I have trouble exercising because the extra skin gets in the way and it feels like my back is hurting all the time especially when I exercise. Will Tricare pay for a panniculectomy or even abdominalplasty for urinary incontinence?

Generally speaking, your strength should return once you’ve recovered. However, it is important that you take a few months off to allow your body to recover. This may be longer than three months depending on how you do and the opinion of your surgeon.
