My thin eyelids give me a tired look, as well as my hollow tear-troughs. Given the shape of my eyes/eyelids, would you recommend upper blepharoplasty (or lower as well?) I had one consultation with a surgeon who said it was NOT a good idea (because the scar would be visible because of my high brows), and another one who said I was a good candidate. I don't know what to think anymore... I'd be grateful for more opinions as consultations are quite pricey. (I am 31.) Thanks!

Answer: Eyelid surgery You are a great candidate for upper lid blepharoplasty. Your incision will be hidden your natural crease if done properly. The lower lids can be treated surgically or you could consider filler/fat grafting. Best to see an eyelid expert in your area.

Answer: Great question Based on your photos, you look like you would be a candidate for an upper blepharoplasty. Your brow position doesn't really have an impact on the visibility of the blepharoplasty scars--they are generally very well-hidden. As for lower blepharoplasty, in-person examination would be most helpful to determine the optimal procedure for you as it's a little difficult to tell from the provided views. Some fat grafting to the cheeks and tear troughs would probably be the best treatment based on what I can see in the photographs.
