I underwent Chest Lipo, Lipo360, and BBL on July 21, 2021. Today is January 17, 2021. And my butt looks EXACTLY the same as it did before having surgery. I've mentioned to friends and family that I had the surgery and literally everyone is telling me there isn't a difference and I need to get my money back. I followed all of the Dr.'s directions and I still look horrible. I am seriously contemplating ending it all.
Answer: BBL results Dear KenDoll.NYC, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Lack of results after body contouring They are two variables that determine results from body contouring procedures. The first is the candidacy of the patient. The second is the skill and experience of the provider. When patients lack great results the reason is always one of those two reasons. Candidacy for Liposuction isn’t the easiest thing in the world to figure out. If the primary problem is excessive amounts of subcutaneous fat in the wrong areas the liposuction is the ideal procedure. Results from fat transfer can also vary based on a multitude of underlying variables. Fat transfer to be successful requires an abundance of host tissue to support grafted fat, sufficient volumes of fat to be grafted and using surgical technique that favors ideal survival of the grafted fat. To make an assessment on the outcome of a surgical procedure requires at a minimum seeing proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before and after pictures then ask your provider to forward the ones they took. Liposuction results can be lacking when there are other variables that are contributing that are not related to subcutaneous fat. The most common reason is skin laxity and the presence of intra-abdominal or visceral fat. Chest Liposuction can sometimes be limited based on the presence of glandular tissue. There is a correct and methodical approach to assessing both candidacy and the outcomes of surgical procedures. It requires an in person examination and clear understanding of what the patient looked like before the procedure. You were certainly entitled to ask for your money back. Whether your doctor will refund money or not depends on how they feel about the situation. It never hurts to ask but your surgeon is not obligated to comply. Some surgeons are more conscientious of patient satisfaction and their reputation than others. I recommend scheduling an in person postop visit with your surgeon and having an honest discussion. If you want an accurate second opinion assessment you need to schedule in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons. The post is insufficient to give you an accurate assessment. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Answer: Dissatisfaction 5 months after BBL Hi and welcome to our forum! From your single lateral preoperative view and your single lateral postoperative view, there is a decrease in abdominal fullness. As there are no before / after frontal or posterior views, I cannot comment on the flanks, hips, or buttocks. You are wearing clothing over the areas in question in the postoperative view.I cannot really provide any useful information regarding the BBL procedure. However I am extremely concerned about your present outlook on life, and I am strongly recommending that you seek counseling for your ideation.Regarding the BBL, revisit your plastic surgeon or seek a second opinion for advice.Best wishes...
