I had a lipo 360 bbl early February of this year so about 6 months ago. I’ve had these dents and bruises that haven’t gone away. I have no idea what they are and my doctor won’t respond to me. I have them in my butt and stomach. My butt is still very hard in large spots.
Answer: BBL results Dear veganegg, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: High Definition VASER Liposuction Unfortunately, your previous surgeon did a poor job leaving dents and contour irregularities. Fortunately, this can be resolved with high definition VASER liposuction revision. The definitive correction for liposuction deformities requires the advanced technology of ultrasound assisted VASER liposuction. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I encounter suboptimal liposuction outcome referrals weekly. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently corrected liposuction caused deformities. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of severity of contour irregularities by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. Finally, when skin redundancy irregularities are observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee

Answer: Poorly done liposuction Your results are direct reflection of how the procedure was performed. Your surgeon is obligated to see you for follow up. Not doing so is considered abandonment. I suggest you contact your doctor and insist they see you for postop and address your concerns. If not consider reporting them. Your provider is responsible for your outcome and you are responsible for choosing that provider. Your treatment was done unevenly and your liposuction was overly aggressive. The discoloration is not bruising (at this point) and the unevenness is an uneven fat distribution and scar tissue from aggressive poorly done liposuction. Long-term discoloration can come from traumatic injury to the dermis or when excessive amounts of blood is left in the tissues causing a form of iron tissue staining called hemosiderin deposits. This typically happens when people were very bruised a week after the procedure. Bleeding can be minimized when surgeons properly use tumescent solution (numbing solution used during awake and general anesthesia Liposuction) and give the solution enough time to properly work. I recommend you follow up with your provider. They are obligated to see you. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
