When I was a child I received a penicillin injection on my right buttocks. I remember it was a very painful experience. The indentation looks more deeper when I lift my leg or when I sit. It's bothers me a lot and sometimes it causes pain on my right hip and glute. Will a bbl fix this? Or do I need a special procedure?.. please help! My current interest are lipo 360, lipo upper back, arms and bbl.

Answer: Dent Dear Mar_bonita83, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from fat transfer. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: I have an indentation on my right buttocks. Will a BBL fix this? (photos) Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Based on your pictures, you are a great candidate for liposuction with BBL, and I think you'll get very good results. Liposuction allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You can improve your abdomen, back and flanks, and of course your buttock, to give you a nice heart shape. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know. Good luck :)

Answer: BBL and gluteal indentation The indentation is caused by either connective tissue anchoring the skin to the underlying muscle layer or scar tissue doing the same thing. It is not a volume deficit and adding volume with fat transfer will most likely not correct this and could potentially make it worse. The indentation is the same principle that causes cellulite. The best analogy is a button on tufted furniture pulling in on the fabric. The more padding that’s put in the furniture the more the tufting becomes prominent. You can still have liposuction and BBL if you’d like but don’t expect it to fix the contour irregularity. For cellulite the best treatment is Subsicion this can be done with a device called Celfina. I’m not sure if that is an option in your case because of the overall size of the indentation. These are not simple things to correct. Expect to hear different opinions from different providers. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
