Is it very dangerous for someone that had spinal cord injury to get something done like bbl or lipo 360? Due that she physically doesn’t walk ? Can it cause blood clots? Or to prevent blood clots use blood thinners?

since you are paraplegic, there is an increased risk of complications. Also, in order to avoid fat necrosis you will need to avoid constant pressure on buttocks. It sounds like you might not be the best candidate for BBL. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

I think surgeons may ask if it really makes sense or is in the patient’s best interest to have cosmetic surgery if someone is wheelchair-bound. Typically the response will be one of patient advocacy balancing risk versus benefit.  and this is going to vary immensely based on true candidacy for the procedure and each individual plastic surgeons opinion.

Different plastic surgeons have different thresholds in regards to the comfort of doing surgery or willingness to take someone’s money to perform a procedure based on their own ethical standards and morality bar.

I see nothing wrong with scheduling a few consultations to get first hand understanding of what can and cannot be accomplished and what it means to have these procedures. The recovery from a BBL may be very challenging for someone who is handicapped.
