I’m primarily interested in the vaginal tightening benefits that Thermiva/Femilift can offer so I wanted to do both to maximize that effect. But my doc told me that Femi would be better & Thermiva won’t tighten internally which is the complete opposite of what I’ve read everywhere. I started my Femi rounds with her, but still doubtful of her advice. Would you say I should find someone willing to perform the Thermiva because that would improve the tightness more than doing Femilift alone?
Answer: Will combining Thermiva & Femilift be better than just doing one? Hello Varsatile7271,Both ThermiVa (radiofrequency energy) and Femilift (laser energy) help tighten the vagina. They are successful in 90% of women. The advantage of the ThermiVa is that there is no downtime, and no discharge and it improves the aesthetics of the external vagina (Vulva) by tightening it and improves the sensitivity of the Clitoris and G-spot. They both improve Urinary Stress Incontinence while tightening the vaginal cavity. I would recommend going to one facility and following their protocol. Doing both procedures should be warranted.

Answer: ThermiVa and FemiLift ThermiVa and FemiLift are both procedures which are used for vaginal rejuvenation. The ThermiVa uses radiofrequency energy to generate the heat/microinjury to the tissues, whereas FemiLift uses laser energy. Either one can be quite effective and improve tightness at the introitus, though they are usually not performed "at the same time". Consider combining one of them with platelet rich plasma injection, the "O Shot" for further regenerative benefits. Whenever you "combine modalities" it usually does lead to additional benefit to a point. So if you do the FemiLift and are still left "wanting more" you could proceed to ThermiVa +/- the O shot.

Answer: COMBINING THERMIVA WITH MONA LISA/FEMLIFT Thank you for your questionThermva uses radiofrequency and femlift/mona lisa are laser procedures. All accomplish the same effects- i.e. they all increase collogen and blood flow to the vagina. These effects give four benefits: 1) improve stress incontinence,2) improve urge incontinence, 3) improve vaginal dryness(due to improved blood supply) and 4) increase collogen which makes the vagina "stiffer" which can give the sensation that it's tighter due to the resistance to stretching. Only surgery can reduce the vaginal circumfrence. Doing both the radio frequency and laser is little different than doing the same thing twice. The scheduling of these procedures maximizes their effects so repeating or doing both out of the maintenance schedule will make little if any improvement.

Answer: What would a combo of Thermiva and FemiLift do for vaginal tightening? The combo of femilift and thermiva would definitely create a stronger skin tightening effect than either alone if you do them at the same time. Both stimulate collagen formation, but the combo would cover a greater percentage of the surface area per session. The femilift drills tiny holes into the vaginal skin which causes the skin to shrink down and heal these holes and each session covers about 25 percent of the surface area of the vaginal canal. The thermiva affects the skin around and between these tiny holes and since it doesn't burn like a laser, a greater surface area can be treated. However, skin tightening isn't the same as vaginal tightening. Vaginal looseness isn't the result of loose skin. It's the result of loose muscles and these machines don't do anything for loose muscles. Consequently, you will feel tighter, but only briefly as a few bouts of sex will easily re-loosen the skin. The only effective long term solution for vaginal tightening is muscle therapy involving surgery, pelvic floor muscle exercises, or both.
