Bumps or waves might be due to uneven fat removal or how the fat has healed post-surgery. In some cases, these can be corrected with a minor revision surgery to smooth out the area.

If you're seeing these irregularities, it’s important to consult your plastic surgeon. They can assess the cause of the bumps, waves, and divots and recommend either a surgical revision or non-invasive treatment to improve the outcome.

For me it is very strange, that your surgeon has not warned you about this consequences, because they are very obvious in case of processing only liposuction on aged neck. Even younger patient might experience skin laxity after liposuction, but after 40... Beside neck also cheeks (lower) make face more sagging,
To fix this issue with neck, neck lift might be single option.

You were never a good candidate for neck liposuction. You need a formal neck lift, and possible facelift. Those surgeries are the only ones that will give you a result you had anticipated with the liposuction.

These irregularities of deep scars and fat deposits can be treated only by means of extensive neck lift or lower face/neck lift. Situation may slightly improve in the coming months as scars soften and diminish but not much. You should seek in person second opinion and consider open neck surgery. Good luck.

Now, the aging process is not limited to the neck only (especially after age 30), it involves the face as well. At your age, the degree of skin laxity in the neck area is severe enough that a full face and neck lift needs to be done to give you a harmonious unoperated face and neck.
