lam 52 and need to sort out the bottom half of my face! I have quite crooked bottom teeth and need to get Invisalign but I also have a very long philtrum (measurement 20). I really want to get the lip lift asap but I'm worried that if I do the Invisalign afterwards it risks stretching and thus lowering the scar. Help!

If you're planning to have both Invisalign and lip lift surgery, it's generally recommended to complete the Invisalign treatment before undergoing the lip lift. This is because orthodontic treatment can affect the position of your teeth and jaws, which in turn can affect the position of your lips and the distance between your nose and upper lip (i.e., the philtrum).

I would recommend to undergo a 3D lip lift, which is an ameliorated version of the OOS lip lift I invented. A 3D lip lift would offer you the best results with minimal scarring.

Of course, an « in person » exam is necessary. It is best to consult with an expert in lip reshaping surgery.
