Thank you for your query. I would not advise a lip lift procedure for you, based on your photographs. You may consider an upper lip augmentation. The pictures do not show your nose properly but a change in the shape of your nose tip may help as well. Your face and smile aesthetics will have to be analysed carefully. Hello, hope you are well. All lip lifts are not created equal. Meaning, it is very important to find a surgeon who understands the procedure and the impact of design choices on the outcome. A conservative lip lift can be performed with minimal (or zero) impact on dental show. Interestingly, performing a lip lift does not tend to exaggerate a 'gummy smile'. So, a lip lift can be designed that reduces the length of the philtrum, while avoiding the pitfalls of excessive dental show or a 'rabbit'-like appearance. It is all dependent on the vertical height of the executed skin excision. Hope this helps!

One of the major goals of lip lift is to improve dental show, which you already have. Be sure to discuss with your plastic surgeon that your lift should involve only skin, not a muscle, what will, most likely, keep your dental show as it is. Hope this helps.
