I want a lip lift as my philtrum is at 21mm but I have long front teeth. What can I do to get a lip lift and not look like a bunny? I looked into teeth shaving but can't get it done without ruining my nerve and enamel.
Answer: Lip lift with a lot of teeth show Thank you for your query. I would not advise a lip lift procedure for you, based on your photographs. You may consider an upper lip augmentation. The pictures do not show your nose properly but a change in the shape of your nose tip may help as well. Your face and smile aesthetics will have to be analysed carefully. Please find an experienced Board certified Plastic surgeon who can examine you and help you with all your concerns. All the best!

Answer: Lip Lift Hello, hope you are well. All lip lifts are not created equal. Meaning, it is very important to find a surgeon who understands the procedure and the impact of design choices on the outcome. A conservative lip lift can be performed with minimal (or zero) impact on dental show. Interestingly, performing a lip lift does not tend to exaggerate a 'gummy smile'. So, a lip lift can be designed that reduces the length of the philtrum, while avoiding the pitfalls of excessive dental show or a 'rabbit'-like appearance. It is all dependent on the vertical height of the executed skin excision. Hope this helps! Best,Dr. Tower

Answer: Lip lift One important thing to consider is adjusting the height of the lip lift to avoid over-exposure of the teeth. A skilled plastic surgeon can evaluate your facial features and customize the procedure to achieve a natural-looking result that complements your teeth and facial structure. That is why it is best to consult with an expert in lip reshaping surgery for the best results. A 3D lip lift (an ameliorated version of the OOS lip lift I invented) should be able to give you dramatic results with no visible scar. I hope this helps, best of luck !

Answer: Lip lift One of the major goals of lip lift is to improve dental show, which you already have. Be sure to discuss with your plastic surgeon that your lift should involve only skin, not a muscle, what will, most likely, keep your dental show as it is. Hope this helps.
