Hello I had a breast argumentation over one year ago however, I am not happy with the extra skin around the nipple area making my breasts look deformed especially when the muscle is flexed. My doctor said he would want to do a periareolar mastopexy - minor donut. Would this be considered a secondary surgery to the breast aug? I was told I didn’t need a lift or I would have gotten it when I got the implants in. Thank you

Answer: Breast augmentation results I'm sorry you are unhappy with your breast augmentation results. Photographs or an exam is needed to determine if a donut mastopexy would be recommended for you. Be sure that you understand the pros and cons of this procedure before proceeding. It is a secondary procedure that is separate from breast augmentation.

Answer: Not happy with breast aug. Loose skin makes my breast look deformed Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry that your results have not been what you anticipated. Unfortunately without photographs nor knowledge of the exact procedure you had performed it is difficult to offer advice. If you are questioning your doctors decision, seek out second opinions from board certified plastic surgeons in your area.
