Not happy with breast aug. Loose skin makes my breast look deformed.

Question

Hello I had a breast argumentation over one year ago however, I am not happy with the extra skin around the nipple area making my breasts look deformed especially when the muscle is flexed. My doctor said he would want to do a periareolar mastopexy - minor donut. Would this be considered a secondary surgery to the breast aug? I was told I didn’t need a lift or I would have gotten it when I got the implants in. Thank you

I'm sorry you are unhappy with your breast augmentation results.  Photographs or an exam is needed to determine if a donut mastopexy would be recommended for you.  Be sure that you understand the pros and cons of this procedure before proceeding.  It is a secondary procedure that is separate from breast augmentation.

You probably needed a lift with the initial surgery and still need the lift.  This is not revisional surgery, but just finishing what was lacking.
