I have had a breast lift w/o implants almost 6 months ago. The right breast was a little bigger before the procedure. Now, after the excess skin was removed, the right is fuller. Plus half of it is still numb after the lift. Should i have a revision to adjust the fullness? Should I not?
Answer: Breasts You have a nice result with minimal difference between the two breasts. I would suggest leaving things alone unless that small difference really bothers you. No one else will notice.

Answer: Wait a full year from surgery I would wait at least a full year before deciding to have a revision. There are things your surgeon can do to address any concerns but you have a nice result and your breasts are still healing.

Answer: Depends how much it bothers you It depends how much the asymmetry bothers you. If it bothers you sufficiently that it is worth it to you to undergo another procedure, anesthesia again, healing and recovery time, and potential complications, then yes. Numbness may or may not still improve from your initial lift, and you may have some more areas of numbness after a revision (depending on where you are numb and where you need to have volume removed).

Answer: Breast Lift Revision Thank you for your question regarding whether I should have a breast lift revision. The question is totally up to you. It is not mandatory, but if it bothers you, I suggest you proceed with surgery. Since it does not impact your activities of daily living or function, you do not mandatorily have to have this procedure. However, if it bothers you, I suggest you have the correction done sooner instead of later. As we age, the risks of other medical comorbidities increases. If you are considering cosmetic surgery, I would proceed to establish a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. If you have any more questions regarding the breast lift or mastopexy, capsular contracture, or breast implants in general, please contact my office. Since your breast surgery is somewhat complex for an average plastic surgeon, please seek an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon with significant experience performing these types of breast lifts. Do your research. Make sure your chosen plastic surgeon has performed at least 100 breast lifts. Make sure they have the before and after pictures to prove it. Carefully examine their before and after pictures and check their reviews on RealSelf. Good luck! Sincerely, Dr. Katzen. Answer: Breast Lift Revision temelena, After 6 months, the results will not likely change going forward. Ultimately, a revision surgery to make the right side slightly smaller would depend on how much the size difference bothers you. The risks of a second surgery would include worsening of the numbness that you have. I would discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon and determine a plan moving forward. Good luck with your ongoing recovery. Dr. Eric J. Wright
