Any advice on how I can improve my butt shape? If all that’s missing is exercise then that’s great, but I’m curious if I need a revision. The shape is not screaming sexy to me. Usually I want to eff myself but ever since the surgery, I barely even wear lingerie. Maybe it’s too compact? Stocky? Also, is it worth retrying to transfer fat to the outer bottom side of my butt? Is this lateral depression or just how I’m shaped? My biggest concern is how i look when I’m in motion. Thank u!
Answer: BBL revision - how can I improve shape and look sexier? Thank you for posting these photos. They are very helpful in understanding your issues. I believe you are a candidate for a BBL revision. It seems that you have tight skin on your hips. This needs to be addressed because I feel this is were your problem lies. Adding fat to the outer bottom side of your butt will enhance your results dramatically. In order for this to work best, the connective tissue bellow the skin should be loosened. This is not very complicated but it will help greatly. I do not think implants are a good option for you. Implants increase size and projection, but they don’t look or feel natural…. most importantly they would not add volume in your problem areas. Best of luck, Dr. Miguel Mota

Answer: BBL revision Dear v_venus811, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Revision BBL…? You are in good company with many others who had high hopes for BBL but instead received disappointing results (lumpiness, unevenness, lack of projection in the central and/or lower buttock, post-deflation sagging, etc.) as most of the fat melts away…especially if you lose 20 more pounds. It is not quite as much the quality of the doctor nor liposuction technique but rather the quality of the procedure that is a large part of the problem. Thus, going back for additional rounds of BBL most often produces the same disappointing results but at another financial loss. Buttock implants, however, provide a more reliable, predictable, relatively safe, and permanent result, especially for adding projection to the buttock and often smoothing out lumpiness. Occasionally a lower buttock tuck may be advantageous for lower buttock fold asymmetries and/or sagging. When considering buttock implants make sure that the surgeon is going to be placing the implants within gluteus muscles , (a.k.a. “intramuscular pocket”), and that they are using anatomically correct, oval-shaped implants, such as Stanton Anatomic ®️ implants. Please keep in mind that an extremely few number of board-certified plastic surgeons specialize in these buttock implants so be sure to consult with one that is reputable and experienced. Unfortunately you may have to travel long and far away from home to find this particular surgeon. Glad to help.

Answer: BBL results To make an assessment on the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we always need to see proper before and after pictures. If you’ve had more than one procedure, then we need to see before and after pictures for each of the two procedures. If you don’t have proper before, and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took. When making an assessment for any body contouring procedure, we need to see that area in context to the rest of your body. You cannot crop and remove the thighs looking at the torso. The size of the thighs has a large impact on how the buttocks and torso appear. Pictures should be cropped to include your body from your neck to below your knees. Try reposting with proper before and after pictures. There’s also mention of various weights in your post. Are you trying to lose weight, gain weight, or are you told to gain weight for the procedure? Without seeing before and after pictures, we can’t access the “chang and the change is what happens during surgery. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
