Looking to achieve a more defined jawline. Is chin lipo the best option in my case? (photo)

I’m very unhappy with my current profile and I’m looking to achieve a more defined jawline, I have had 4/5 Rounds of Aqualyx with small but noticeable improvement however I’m now looking into chin liposuction as I don’t believe weight loss alone will help I’m currently a healthy BMI 9.7st 5.7ft. Is chin lipo the best option in my case?

A non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

The lateral view shows the contour of the submandibular gland which suggests that the layer of fat tissue under the skin it's relatively thin and therefore that chin liposuction may not achieve the goals that you have for neck and jawline definition.

The anterior neck lift procedure can address the volume situated deep to the platysma muscles which includes fatty tissue, the volume of the digastric muscles and the lower part of the submandibular glands.

Since you have no skin excess under the chin, no skin tightening would be necessary.

Thank you for sharing your photos , to achieve permanent result i would reccomend you chin liposuction and once a year you may support and prolong the result with ULTHERAPY . Chin lipo can be performed under local anastesia and completelly painless , takes only 30 min . You will wear garment for 1st week after treatment to prevent skin sagging and use antibiotics and mild painkillers . Slight bruising and edema is normal during first 2 weeks but it will disappear after 1 st month post surgery . ULTHERAPY is also possible as non surgical tretment but it should be repeated and the final result after treatment will be more visible after two or three months .
