Unhappy with chin lipo results - any thoughts on what should be done? (Photo)

A non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

You look great in your pictures! The residual fullness is very minimal. However, if you wish to smooth out the submental area, as seen in your first picture, your doctor's recommendation is not unreasonable. Another option you can discuss with your surgeon is to try Kybella injection.

Since your first procedure was years ago and it's no longer inflammation, I agree that the best option to smooth out the area is to undergo a second round of chin lipo.

Fat deposits in the neck are usually located both above and below the platysma muscle in the neck. Liposuction can only remove fat deposits above the muscle. A surgical neck lift is required to remove fat deposits below the platysma muscle which also includes a platysma plasty to significantly improve the jawline. No skin removal is required.

To make an assessment on the outcome of a cosmetic procedure we need to see proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before and after pictures then ask your surgeon to forward the ones they took. We also do not Make assessments of outcomes with a facial expressions. Contracting facial muscles does not create a neutral appearance and is somewhat irrelevant regarding plastic surgery outcomes. Muscle pull can always create desirable or undesirable contour changes on the face.
The chin and neck is made up of many layers of tissue and fat is only one layer. Manipulating fat can only do so much and without addressing bone, platysma muscle, sublittoral muscle and fat liposuction alone has inherent limitations. Some people are better candidates for liposuction results than others likewise some providers are better at these procedures than their counterparts.
Try reposting with proper before and after pictures. If you want a proper second opinion consultation then schedule those as in person consultations bringing with you before and after pictures and a copy of your previous operative report which is also available from your prior provider.
