I had my breast augmentation done 4 months ago. I was originally a 34 A/B and got 450cc moderate plus silicone unders. I haven't seen much change over the last 6 weeks and I'm worried my nipples are still too low. I have a follow up scheduled with my doctor next week.
Answer: 4 months still early Even at 4 months the implants will continue to settle over the course of the whole year. Massage and patience will help you. Its not that the nipples are in the wrong place its that the implants need to settle behind them. You don't have far to go and from your pictures you look to have a good result. Be patient. Be sure to talk to your surgeon about your concerns, but my guess is that when you reach 6 months or 8 months you'll notice that the implants have settled very well and you'll be very happy. Best wishes.

Answer: Nipple position and breast augmentation Thank you for your question and sharing photos. I would recommend that you continue with breast massage and wait another couple months to assess the final position. If you find that the implants descend a little during that time, then you might want to wait a little longer. Ultimately, if there is no change, then you can either lower the pocket to allow the implants to descend more, or raise the nipple/areolar position.

Answer: 4 months post op Breast Augmentation, nipples too low? Thank you for your series of photographs and questions. I can see your area of concern, and at four months you are approaching your final results. I would speak with your surgeon to voice your concerns. They can perform an exam to assess the position of your implants relative to your breast tissue and determine a treatment option for correction, which may involve additional surgery.

Answer: Nipples too low? thank you for your question and submitting photographs. This is a fairly common question actually. The augmentation procedure does not alter your nipple position. There is a wide range of opinion from women with regard to the ideal nipple location relative to the main volume of the breast.Your result is certainly very attractive all while it may not quite your expectations with regard to nipple position. This is going to change over the next several months however. The lower pole skin will probably stretch a bit causing an auto rotation giving the appearance of a higher nipple even though it is caused by more fullness at the bottom part of your breast.A relatively minor procedure can be offered called a crescent lift. I would caution him against proceeding with this for at least 6 months postoperatively since there are going to be some continued changes.Overall result looks great.
