Very unhappy with Bellafill progress so far for acne scarring. Any suggestions? (Photo)

I have had 3 syringes of Bellafill over a 4 month period and a Subcision prior to the last syringe.When I compare now with my initial photos, there is neglible difference and worse in a couple areas 2 areas that look filled outside the scars! Every txmt has been the same. Initial filling/swelling where my face looks virtually scar free then exactly 5 days later, the swelling is gone and scars are back. Heartbroken. after spending 3k. Now consulting with a new doc for Bellafill. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, we do not have your pre-Bellafill photos but a syringe of Bellafill in each nasolabial fold will not affect your jowl area. Bellafill does not migrate and syringe has surprisingly little volume in it. I have added a video that shows how much volume is in each syringe. You do...

Bellafill is an excellent volume filler.  However, it is only approved by the FDA for correction of the naso -abial folds and acne.  However, most of us have been using the Artefill® and which is now Bellafill® for treatment in other areas.  Since it is permanent, it should only be used by a ve...

In my practice I do a combination of lasers/RF, subcision, needling and fillers all on the same day (check out my youtube!).  I think you get the best results with combination therapy.  Best, Dr. Emer.
