I'm in my early 30's, and a size 2. I'm fit as can be, but I have a double chin sometimes when I slouch or look down that's genetic. It seems like in the last couple of years it's become more noticeable. I want to have a firm, smooth chin that matches the rest of me. I'm wondering if laser lipo, lipo, or CoolSculpting is my best bet. A bonus would be a little firming so that the line on my neck is lifted a bit. I also want to ensure the results are smooth.
Answer: Tiny bit of chin fat, what to do? CoolSculpting Mini requires that you have enough fat for the cup to create the necessary suction. From first glance it looks like you may not have enough. The only way to tell is to visit a clinic and have them place the Mini applicator.More precise results can be obtained from Kybella injections. Many young people spend a great part of the day looking down at small screens, and this can cause some changes in the normal appearance of the neck and submental area. Here's an interesting video on "tech neck"

Answer: Chin Coolsculpting, skin tightening and filler to augment chin and jaw line Thank you for your question and photos. In person consultation is best, but from your photo I can see that you are likely a great candidate for coolsculpting, nonsurgical fat removal. You may also want to consider some skin tightening treatments on neck and jaw line, like Venus legacy or exiles. Finally, you can consider augmenting your chin and jaw line with fillers that will further create a sharp and chizzled look. Good luck. Sincerely, Olga Bachilo, MD

Answer: Coolsculpting is a good option You appear to be a good candidate for CoolSculpting’s CoolMini treatment. Not only does it reduce fat, last year it was FDA cleared for improved appearance of lax tissue. Depending on the volume, some patients receive a second session. Expect full results at 12 weeks post treatment.

Answer: Double chin treatment? Neck liposuction candidate Neck liposuction is a great option for patients with good skin elasticity and excess fat in the neck and around the jawline. This will remove excess fat and stimulate the skin to contract over time which will improve angulation and definition along the jawline. I recommend seeing an expert for a consultation who can go over this procedure to determine if it will achieve your desired results and the cost of the procedure. Hope this helps.

Answer: Best Method To Remove Double Chin There are several non-surgical treatments which can be used to reduce double chin fat and tighten loose double chin skin. We use various combinations including Coolsculpting, Kybella, Ultherapy, Radiofrequency (ThermiTight), etc. to treat this area. The best thing to do is to have an in-person consultation and evaluation with an experienced physician provider to determine which specific treatments would be most appropriate for you. Best wishes.
