Phenomenal injector! I wanted to minimize my nasal labial folds, marionnette lines, and also turn up the corners of my mouth.....and Dr. Troccoli accomplished all of this! He has a gentle hand, and a stellar injection technique. I love the results and I will always go to him!
I saw Dr. Troccoli for a consultation for lip fillers, he listened to all my concerns and decided Juvederm would be the best filler for the look I wanted to achieve, he took his time and did an amazing job. I am extremely satisfied!!!
As a first time patient inquiring about lip fillers I was really nervous, but Dr. Troccoli made me feel very comfortable. After some self research I came in with a thought that 1 full syringe of restylane was needed & he was completely honest with me and told me it wasn’t necessary. I explained my flaws and the look I was trying to achieve, Dr. Troccoli was very understanding. We went with the half syringe of restylane & I couldn’t be anymore happier with my results. I got the nice plump appearance that I wanted without ANYONE realizing I did lip fillers. I’m so happy with the decision of going and trusting my face with Dr. Troccoli; I now go regularly to Dr. Troccoli for any touch ups and medical issues!
I had both Botox and Radiesse (filler). Doctor Troccoli is reassuring and extremely professional. I was nervous about using a filler, but either procedure was painful. The doctor was gentle and it did not feel rushed. The results from both the filler and Botox are incredible.
I think I look good for someone in their early 70's but I hated the creases in my chin. It made me look like I was a puppet. I felt it really made me look old. The only problem is that now I want to do more to enhance my appearance. Maybe move on to Cool Sculpting for my love handles. lol Updated on 26 Sep 2017: juvederm injections in chin
I was trying Radiesse for the first time. A little nervous...Dr. John Troccoli made it wondeful! He is very professional, warm, patient, and has the 'Best' gentle touch. I was impressed that he really studied my face for a while to make sure where I would benefit the most. It came out perfect! I would highly recommend him for 'any' procedures! Can't wait for my next one.
I have had several laser scar treatments with Dr. Trocolli for a deep linear scar that was very noticeable on my face and was very satisfied with the results. Dr. Trocolli is very pleasant, answers all questions and takes his time reviewing the problem. He is a very knowledgeable and dedicated professional in his field as well. I would definitely recommend seeing Dr. Trocolli as a dermatologist.
Stay far, far away unless you want to be scammed into more cost and botched results. Scary is how I will sum up this experience. I went to Dr. Troccoli for under eye filler at the Roslyn office of Advanced Dermatology (where I’ve been a derm patient for 20 years, since HS). I actually looked for reviews online and his were stellar so I felt comfortable and even excited to try a cosmetic procedure with a trusted dr. and practice. Fast forward to what actually happened. Instead of 1 syringe of restalyne under my eyes, Dr. Troccoli said I needed 2, then overdid my right eye in a different place than my left and asked where I wanted to use the rest of the syringe as I was laying there. I deferred to him and he put it in my chin and nasolabial fold. I could feel the difference in my right eye bc my vision was affected and when I pointed out how much more filled and uneven it looked, he said it was swollen and to ice it. I was hoping obviously charged for the additional syringe, instead of $650, it was $1300 for a mangled face and obstructed vision. I received a VM later in the week checking on my eye and apologizing and asking me to come back to correct it. I went back and the decision was either dissolve it all with hyaluronidase ($1300 down the drain) or use ANOTHER SYRINGE FOR ANOTHER $650. At this point even the nurse who saw me was in disbelief that they weren’t offering to correct it at no cost and to refund for the mess up. The office manager very graciously told me the best she could do was $210 for the syringe to fix it and 2 weeks later I was billed another $450. When I called the office multiple days in a row with no call back, getting transferred over and over to people who made me wait and just took my info, I finally got the regional manager and she said they did me a favor by offering to fix it and gave me a great price at $210 to fix it and that I consented to the risk. Sooooo instead of paying $650 to a board certified derm to do your under fillers, you can go to Dr. Troccoli at Advanced Dermatology to pay 3x that for two visits to correct your asymmetrical results!
Thanks for your question. Photosensitivity is not a common side effect of Wellbutrin; however, even if it were, it would still be safe to continue taking Wellbutrin while doing the Fraxel laser, as the Fraxel laser does NOT involve UV light. We commonly treat people with Fraxel for acne scarring who are on Tetracycline-derivative medication (which is photosensitizing) without any problems. However, sun avoidance (no prolonged outdoor activities) and sunscreen post Fraxel are absolutely essential for a minimum of 2 weeks to avoid the possibility of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Thanks for your question. The Fraxel treatment level settings are dictated by what skin pigmentation type you have. Darker skinned individuals (Type IV-VI) should be treated at lower treatment levels, generally 5 or below, to prevent post-inflammatory pigmentation. Sun avoidance post Fraxel laser is also necessary to prevent this. Lighter skinned individuals (Type I-III) can be treated with higher treatment levels. The energy levels for the Fraxel laser depends on what skin condition you are treating with the Fraxel laser. Acne and surgical scars generally require higher energies, so 40 is a relatively low energy, but it may be a conservative starting energy since multiple Fraxel treatments are generally required to improve scarring and some physicians increase the energy with each subsequent treatment.. 3 passes would be considered a low number, unless each "pass" was bidirectional which would really make it 6 passes.
Thanks for your question. Coolsculpting/CoolMIni works great for the double chin/submental fat, but patients need to have enough fat that will actually fit into the CoolMini handpiece. If there is not enough fat, then other treatment options such as Kybella would be more appropriate. For the right candidate, you can expect approximately 20% fat reduction per treatment session. Most patients need one or two treatment sessions for ideal results. Some patients with a lot of submental fat need 2 applications of the CoolMini handpiece per treatment session. It usually take a minimum of 2 months to see the results post treatment, but you can continue to see improvement for up to 4 months afterwards.
Thanks for your question. No, there is no effect of Livial on the efficacy or longevity of Botox. The maximal results of Botox are at 2 weeks, so it would be very unusual for the effect of Botox to wear off within one week. There have been rare instances where one can develop neutralizing antibodies to Botox, in which case switching to another neurotoxin such as Dysport or Xeomin might be beneficial. However, it could also be that not enough units of Botox were used to achieve a longer lasting result.
Thanks for your question. No, Terbenafine does not have any effect on the efficacy nor longevity of Botox.
