I had my chin Coolsculpting done three days ago now. I had both sides and then the middle treated. So, three in one sitting. All three resulted in the same lump that you can see in the first picture. What is concerning is that my entire chin is hot to the touch. This certainly isn't what I expected. It's so noticeable that I was asked if I was ok at the store this morning. I've included some pictures that I just took. It's swollen, hard, red and hot. What do you think?

Answer: Redness and swelling after treatment Though some amount of redness and swelling is common after Coolsculpting with CoolMini to the chin area, by the looks of your photos you may have had a CoolAdvantage Petite and not a Mini. It is difficult to know for sure with photos and not seeing you in person, if for some reason they decided to use the larger applicator for your treatment , you will have much more noticeable swelling, redness, etc. CoolAdvantage applicators are meant for the body and not the face/chin. The size, suction and temperatures are calibrated for the body while the Mini is specifically designed for the more delicate chin area. Follow up with the office that performed your treatment. In the meantime, many patients find compression helpful, ibuprofen and massage. Best of luck.

Answer: Coolsculpting Hello, It sounds like you had three treatments in one day, considering some of it must have been overlapping this may be normal for the version of the treatment you had done, it is an aggressive approach to coolmini but I am sure you discussed risks and benefits before treatment, hope that helps, Dr Violetta Mailyan.
