I have been to my doctor and I'm in good healthy. The filler doesn't hurt but I can feel it pushing and pressure on the temples. I have been taking pain killers to numb the feeling for 11weeks. I'm wondering if too much filler has been placed In there? I if getting some dissolved would ease the pressure feeling?

Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your post-filler issues.  In general some pressure after placement of Voluma is not uncommon in the temple region but this typically resolves as the filler matures and softens.  If after 11 weeks this is unlikely to change spontaneously and I would advocate having some of the voluma dissolved by your injector.  Best wishes.

Thank you for your question. It is not uncommon after Voluma injection to the temples for you to have tightness and swelling. Generally speaking Voluma is one of those fillers that has a smaller affinity for water. If you still have tightness at 11 weeks I would recommend that you re-consult with your physician. You might be a candidate for dissolving the Voluma with Wydase. I hope this helps

I would expect, after 11 weeks, for the tightness to resolve. If it is bothering you then yes, return to your injector and discuss having some of it dissolved.

Hi,It is pretty common to feel tightness in the temples after Voluma injection but it usually goes away by a week.  I don't know how much you had placed but if it is uncomfortable, you should ask your provider if they can dissolve it for you.Warmly,Dr.Liu

It is really common for patients to feel a bit of tightness in the temple region after Voluma but it typically dissipates to a comfortable level. The fact that you are still bothered by it at 11 weeks would lead me to believe that yes, you would probably benefit by having some of it dissolved to lessen the pressure. Best of luck.

Thank you for your question.  I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing complications after your Voluma treatment.  It's difficult to make an exact diagnosis without assessing you in-person, or reviewing your photos.  That said, it is highly unusual to be feeling any sort of pressure or discomfort 11 weeks after any filler injections to the temples.  It is possibile that you were either injected with too much filler, or your filler was placed improperly, or you are experiencing a reaction to your filler.  Luckily, Voluma, like any other hyaluronic acid filler, can be dissolved using hyaluronidase.  Because it is a longer-lasting, robust filler, it can take multiple hyaluronidase treatments to fully reverse the effects of Voluma.  I would recommend scheduling a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist to discuss your concerns, and to likely have your filler dissolved.  I hope you feel better soon.

Your symptoms are quite unusual and usually Voluma can be safely injected into the temples to give it volume. I would get in touch with your doctor and have him examine you. As a HA-based filler, Voluma can always be dissolved if you aren't pleased with the results or if you are having symptoms associated with its insertion.
