- December '14: injected w/ Voluma in lips - July '15: lips almost back to normal, got Juvederm by new doctor, still felt like upper lip was "top heavy." Stopped lip fillers altogether - June '16: injections of the dissolvent (went down a bit) - May '17: Still feel like I have filler left or scar tissue.Could voluma still be in lips? If it is scar tissue, will it get worse? Went to a facial plastic surgeon, felt my lips & said it didnt feel like scar tissue, but how can you tell from feeling it?

Answer: How do I know if i have scar tissue build up in my lips from Voluma?
Hi,Based on your photo, Voluma would be a great choice to fix that area. Voluma can be placed via microcannula for global filling or direct needle for spot treatments. It is very precise and I think better than Sculptra for you since you see the result right away.Warmly,Dr.Liu
Cost of Voluma will differ regionally and based on the office and surgeon experience. In our practice near NYC, We charge $1000 for the first vial, and $800 for each one thereafter.
I don't typically use Voluma to treat the tear trough. It's a bit too thick and can be problematic. The fact that you are happy with your results is great. I would encourage you to let things be. Underfilling this area is the right approach.
