9 weeks post op, is it likely that my right breast implant will drop? (photos)

Thank you for your question. It is not uncommon to have swelling. Breasts may not heal at the same rate, causing one breast to appear different than the other. It can take up to 12 weeks for the implants to settle and you to see the final result. Follow up with your board certified surgeon to address your concern. Good luck!

Your photos show that the right breast implant appears to have moved progressively higher.  You will need to see your plastic surgeon for an assessment.  Hope you are able to get this sorted soon.  Best wishes.

Thank you for your question. I understand your concern. You are still fairly early in your recovery and with breast implant displacement exercises I would expect the right breast to drop more. Part of the problem is the right breast was smaller before surgery and thus the implant needs to expand the smaller breast more as time goes on. If at 6 months the implant has dropped no further than consideration of a surgical pocket release may be necessary preferably at one year after surgery. Continue and close of operation with your surgeon. Understand that the smaller breast preop meant that this implant will drop slower than the larger side.
