It's been 8 days since I had a lower blepharoplasty and my eyes appear smaller and round shaped. I'm so afraid I have lower lid retraction, if this is the case, what can be done to fix this, is it reversible?

Answer: Rounding after lower bleph? At only 8 days post-surgery, it is definitely too early to determine the final lid appearance. The swelling that is still present can certainly contribute to any changes in lid shape you might notice. You should give the lids additional time to heal and follow up with your surgeon as recommended.

Answer: Lower blepharoplasty with change in shape Mick12, it is too early to tell at this point. From the pictures, it is clear that your body is still healing. A good rule of thumb is that 80% of swelling is gone at 2 weeks, meaning you are still going to have 20% of swelling that will go away gradually. Some degree of lid retraction is normal with the swelling that is present after surgery.
