It's been 8 days since I had a lower blepharoplasty and my eyes appear smaller and round shaped. I'm so afraid I have lower lid retraction, if this is the case, what can be done to fix this, is it reversible?

Answer: Lower lid retraction Hi. It looks like you are healing well and quickly after your surgery. Eight days is very early in the post op course, and your eyelids will settle down more over the next few weeks and months. Follow up with your surgeon for post operative management. If after a few months you still feel that there is a problem, then a corrective procedure may be an option. Best regards, Ira Vidor, M.D.

Answer: Lower lid blepharoplasty If you feel that the lower lid has been pulled down a bit this may be due to swelling. Sometimes massage upward and taping can help, but best to check with your surgeon.
