I have met with 3 diff doctors now. 2 said anchor and 1 said lollipop. My understanding was the anchor gives me a higher lift with maybe more volume and esp since I am bigger (34DD/DDD). The Lollipop doc said he only does Lollipop lifts because he has perfected this technique and the anchor is unnecessary.1 doctor also quoted 3 hrs in the OR and 1 quoted 90 min. I cannot compare doctors since I am not even comparing the same procedure even though I am going in and asking for the same thing.
Answer: Breast lift without vertical scar Thank you for your question and helpful photo. There's another option called The Horndeski Method/The Bellesoma Method which reshapes and repositions your breasts high on the chest wall to create cleavage that resembles implants. With this method, care is taken to preserve nipple sensitivity, ability to breast-feed and breast tissue. The excess skin from the sides in pulled in with the lift. The attached video is of a patient that wanted her breasts back to their original youthful position without implants and without a vertical incision. You are welcome to visit my gallery to find women with similar dimensions as yours to see real results. This is a proprietary technique and only available by physicians trained in this method. I hope this helps. Best wishes and kind regards, Dr. Gary Horndeski

Answer: Lollipop vs Anchor Mastopexy Thank you for your question. I agree with opinions expressed below, but would like to introduce the concept that a lollipop and anchor are not mutually exclusive, but are two points on a spectrum. Some patient's anatomy require more skin to be removed or some patients want a more round fake result which would require an implant. You can see that there are many options and sometimes the horizontal scar only needs to be a couple of inches long. This is why an in person exam is important both to understand your anatomy and goals. Best wishes.

Answer: Breast lift Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you are a great candidate for a breast lift. You are a candidate for both a vertical technique and a wise pattern technique. Both can be designed to result in an improved shape and contour of your breasts while minimizing scar appearance. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Answer: Breast lift options Thanks for your inquiry the difference between the lollipop lift and the anchor incision is the horizontal component which can be variable length. If the horizontal incision is kept primarily under the breast it can be highly useful at shortening and tightening the lower pole of the breast and removing ptotic breast. My summary "shape" is the most important thing, good luck.

Answer: Anchor vs Lollipop lift only Perfecting a technique or thinking that one has perfected a technique does not mean that a technique has no limitations. I perform about 85% vertical lifts, but I never sacrifice the shape of the breasts if another technique proves better.
