Neck lift 8 months after sculptra - will this be an issue?

I'm interested in having a neck and lower face lift. I had Sculptra in my jawline @ 8 months ago. The consultant I've been liaising with has said that it’s not an issue and I can go ahead with the surgery. I’d like to know the thoughts of others using this platform. Many thanks in advance.

You can confidently proceed with your necklace surgery without any concern that the Sculptra would affect your surgery.  In the present day, when many people have various facial volume enhancers, it is very common to have these products in patients when facelifts and neckllifts are performed. A well trained plastic surgeon is able to manage this easily.

In general terms, Sculptra increases collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin. However, this is usually not a problem for surgical procedures, whether you are considering a deep plane facelift and neck lift or more superficial techniques.

Sculptra’s effects on collagen should not interfere with the surgical process or the outcome. It is always important to discuss your previous treatments and any concerns with your surgeon during your consultation to ensure the best approach for your specific situation.

It should not be a problem to have face lift done months after injection of filler. Occasionally, there may be some areas of density and scarring as reaction to filler, which may not be that important along the jawline where filler was deposited in your case. Hope this helps.
