Tackling throat skin laxity through incision where parathyroid incision is done?

Hello, hope you are well. There are many factors that determine the best place to conceal incisions for removing excess skin. When there is a lot of skin redundancy, the traditional incision design goes around the ears. The vectors for redraping the skin are very favorable with this approach, and the incisions can be made long enough to avoid skin pleating and allow for a maximal result with very inconspicuous scars. A central incision (especially designed horizontally like a thyroid incision) is rarely a good option. Nevertheless, every case is unique, and perhaps something could be designed to suit your wishes if your anatomy is just right, but it would be difficult to provide further advice without a visual of your problem.
