The dent or gap looks like a true defect in the nasal bone that occurred as part of the bony osteotomy and will not correct itself.  Often a fat  graft will smooth out a defect on a long term basis and I prefer as a better alternative than fillers which are temporary.  Sometimes an irregularity can be rasped down as a minor office procedure.  An examination would be necessary to give the best advice.

Thank you for your question and photos! It is difficult to assess the “dent” without an in-person consultation, however being 2 months post- op there is still a lot of swelling. It can take up to one year to see the final result from a rhinoplasty. In regards to the sensitivity and uncomfortable feeling, this is expected at 2 months due to the nasal bone and cartilage still being in the healing process. I suggest contacting your surgeon to discuss your concerns and possible ways to optimize the healing process.

HiWhilst there can still be some swelling which can cause minor irregularities it looks like you have what is called an inverted V deformity only. This looks like an upside down V if it happens on both sides however it looks like yours is only on one side. It is due to a gap between the septum and the nasal bone and can be corrected with either filler (temporary) or a cartilage graft.RegardsDamien

Hi, it appears you have a small contour deformity on the dorsum of the nose. This can happen when you have had a previous break in the nose and when the skin is very thin. At two months I would wait another 6 weeks and if still present entertain the idea of filler. It may take 6-9 months before truly knowing whether it is permanent as it is normal to have swelling and contour issues early on.

After healing is complete, small dents can be filled either with a filler or Silicone to smooth them out. It is normal to feel bumps and things after rhinoplasty. We just want to make everything look as smooth as possible. If a bony irregularity persists, a small revision is sometimes necessary.

The defect your nose demonstrates is likely from the nasal bones not meeting along your dorsum.  I suspect that you had a nasal dorsal hump prior to surgery.  When the hump was lowered in order to prevent an “open roof deformity” of the nasal dorsum the nasal bones are fractured on the sides and brought together.  Your bones are not meeting and there is some residual bony prominence along the nasal dorsum.  An experienced rhinoplasty surgeon will be able to correct this issue.  It may require simple bony rasping of the nasal dorsum, possible fracture of the left nasal bone, or a cartilage or temporalis fascia onlay graft for camouflage.  Short term correction can be performed with dermal filler injection into the nose.

Your photos may reveal thin nasal skin, and small indentations may appear after rhinoplasty as swelling resolves. Depending on your examination, a permanent nonsurgical rhinoplastic treatment with microdroplet Silikon-1000 may be considered for permanent improvement, depending on your examination. Irregularities along the bridge can be a result of a variety of causes including:technique (leaving edges of nasal bone, nasal bone reduction)swelling (the surrounding tissues called periosteum can create uneveness until fully healed)In my practice, to reduce the chance of bony irregularities, I use powered instrumentation to help with creating smoother contours.  In case there is a persistent residual bony asymmetry, most of the time this can be addressed with a smaller rasping procedure in the office to help create a smoother contour.Best Dr. Anil Shah

It appears that your concerns are related to rasping or hump reduction. It does takes several months to one year for final results. Some irregularities may be palpable without being visible. Please discuss your concerns with your Plastic Surgeon who can help you. All The Best !
